Dr. Eliran Mor, MD – Medical Director at the California Center for Reproductive Health – Eliran Mor, MD is the Medical Director at the California Center for Reproductive Health, specializing in Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Mor acknowledged his medical degree from the University of Tel Aviv-Sackler College of Medicine before completing a four year residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Mor also completed a 3-year fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Southern California and is currently a Clinical Instructor at USC.
Dr. Mor has been a California Board-Certified physician since 2001 and is also licensed by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. Dr. Mor is a member of a variety of different prestigious medical organizations and is in excellent standing with them all, including ASRM, PCRS, SLS, and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). He was known as a Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare and was granted the title of Most Compassionate Doctor by the American Registry.
His compassion is evident to patients and their loved ones as soon as they are seen by Eliran Mor, MD. He endeavors to build a safe space for everyone including transgender patients and members of the LGBTQIA community. He believes in providing patients with the information they need to make informed choices about their own care.
Dr. Mor is a very involved doctor when dealing with individuals and families that are struggling to start or expand their families. All consultations, after-hour inquiries, pelvic examinations, ultrasound examinations, diagnostic procedures, assisted reproductive procedures (egg retrievals, embryo transfers…), and surgical procedures, if needed, will be performed by Dr. Mor. Involvement in every aspect of his patients’ fertility care and complete micromanagement of their treatment makes Dr. Mor the ideal partner on the path to becoming pregnant.
As a medical professional, Dr. Mor is dedicated to staying aware of and knowledgeable about the latest procedures and treatments available in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He strives to attend at least two conferences or meetings a year to learn first-hand from other physicians and fertility experts.
Dr. Mor has also presented abstracts at these meetings with other members of the medical community. In the past, Dr. Mor has attended meetings across the United States. One of his abstracts that he co-presented entitled, “Flawed autophosphorylation of the insulin receptor (APIR): A potential mechanism of insulin resistance in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS),” was awarded the Fellowship Research Prize Paper Award by the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. It was presented in 2003 at the 59th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine in San Antonio, Texas.
Adding to his robust Curriculum Vitae of Abstracts, Dr. Mor has also been published more than a dozen times in peer-reviewed journals like the Journal of the American Medical Association, Fertility & Sterility, & the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. These published articles have covered many different topics that are of interest to physicians in the fields of reproductive endocrinology, infertility and obstetrics, and gynecology. Specific article topics have included polycystic ovary syndrome, insulin resistance, pregnancy in the sixth decade of life, in vitro fertilization, and contraception.
The California Center for Reproductive Health has three offices in Southern California: Encino, West Hollywood, and Valencia. At each location, Dr. Mor and his staff work every day to aid individuals and families with reproductive endocrinology or infertility concerns. Dr. Mor believes in listening to and engaging with his patients so that they can also be confident they are receiving the best and most individualized care for their specifc health needs.
